The Wasteland is the place that could not end.
It is not hell. It is not punishment. It is unfinished consequence.
Origin
The Wasteland emerged from compounded human magical shortcuts and an elven absence that reality could not reconcile.
Dawne did not fix the failure. She isolated it outside time and consequence.
Properties
- Time stalls, loops, or stretches
- Wounds do not heal or kill
- Hunger exists without starvation
- Decay never completes
- Nothing can finish
Completion
When Finale completes the Wasteland, it does not explode or vanish. It becomes history.
History, at last, is allowed to move on.
