Swamp Village

The swamp village comes before the Growers arc.

This is where The Young Traveler and Vaelis first meet Renn.

Importance

The village is the first place where The Young Traveler faces a choice between moving forward and staying for one person.

He leaves.

Nothing immediately goes wrong.

That is what makes the consequence unbearable later.
